General Manager

The General Manager creates a professional environment, works with all staff to ensure outstanding customer service is provided while buying, selling and conducting in-store activities. The manager is accountable for the oversight of the day-to-day operations of the stores in the country, promoting a positive and productive environment. Leading by example and promoting our core values, the manager sets the tone for a customer-centric environment.

Reports to: Regional/ District Manager

This is a hands-on leadership position, in addition to coaching and developing your team, you will also set the example of outstanding customer service while working alongside and with them.

 

Weekly Schedule: Monday-Saturday 8:30am-6.00pm

Job Responsibilities

  • Recruit, interview, orient, train, and retain Team Members.

  • Achieve all financial objectives and KPIs, analyze variances, and initiate corrective action as appropriate in accordance the company’s performance policy.

  • Create a safe, secure, and welcoming store experience for customers and Team Members through successful execution of Company merchandising and cleanliness standards.

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws (statutory employee benefits, discipline and termination, grievance handling, etc.) by consulting with the HR department.

  • Manage and execute the Company’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiative.

  • Manage all marketing and advertising campaigns for the stores and provide feedback to the Regional Manager.

 

Requirements:

  • Diploma or equivalent of 3 to 5 years’ experience in a Store Management role

  • Strategic and tactical staff management skills

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Strong fiscal management

  • Occasional Travel locally and internationally

  • Ability to meet any physical ability
