Job Description

Job Purpose: As the HR Manager reporting to the Chief Finance and Operations Officer (CFOO), you will assume a strategic leadership role in overseeing all aspects of human resources management. Your primary focus will be to develop and execute HR strategies, policies, and programs aligned with the company's vision and business objectives. Through effective talent acquisition, employee development, and fostering a positive work culture, you will contribute to the organization's success and growth.

 

Key Results Areas:

  • Champion the growth and prosperity of Experience Turks and Caicos by nurturing a high- performing and engaged workforce.

 

Essential Duties:

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement HR initiatives that support the organization's strategic goals.

  • Provide expert guidance and counseling on HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and fostering a positive work environment.

  • Lead and oversee the full talent acquisition process, from sourcing to onboarding, to attract and retain top talent.

  • Drive performance management and career development programs to enhance employee productivity and individual growth.

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive learning and development initiatives, aligning with individual career paths and business needs.

     

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the CFOO, providing insights on the characteristics, needs, and expectations of Experience Turks and Caicos entire workforce.

  • Collaborate with senior leaders to address and resolve employee-related matters, ensuring a harmonious work environment.

  • Build strong internal networks to support the achievement of Experience Turks and Caicos' strategic priorities.

  • Undertake any other duties assigned by the CEO and CFOO to support the organization's overall success.

 

Skills/Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a relevant field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.

  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations in Turks and Caicos.

  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing HR strategies that align with business objectives.

  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, inspiring and empowering teams to achieve excellence.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, effectively engaging with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from HR data and metrics.

  • Change management expertise, guiding the organization through periods of transformation.

     

Working Conditions:

  • Operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting to evolving business needs.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to shape company culture and drive strategic decision-making.

  • Occasional travel and participation in company events may be required.

  • Availability to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary to achieve organizational objectives.
