Job Description
Job Purpose: Plan, Develop, and Execute cultural and entertainment events across the Turks and Caicos destination. Create distinctive signature events that are promoted by Experience Turks and Caicos in source markets and establish an annual event calendar for travel and leisure.

Essential Duties:
-
Lead in conjunction with the product development manager the execution and management of the Weekly Fish Fry. Including offerings and activities.

Define event requirements and standards for each occasion.

Ensure all events align with Experience Turks and Caicos Branding Guidelines.

Generate and implement innovative event concepts and themes.
-
Responsible for sourcing and procurement of Experience Turks and Caicos collateral items.

Develop event budgets and manage invoice processing.

Collaborate with the Destination Development Department to enhance the tourism value chain in relation to event organization.

Partner with the Finance and Operations Department to design and execute fundraising activities associated with events.

Coordinate and support service suppliers and other involved businesses in event organization.

Manage logistics for events, encompassing all necessary elements.
-
Anticipate attendee needs and mitigate potential risks.
-
Produce post-event reports evaluating event effectiveness.
-
Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned by the CEO and Chief Marketing Officer.
Skills/Qualifications/Competencies:

Bachelor's degree in hospitality, public relations, management, or related field.

Passion for organizing and executing events in the tourism or cultural sector.

Demonstrated budget management experience, adhering to procurement policies and vendor payment processing.

Exceptional project management and organizational skills, thriving in high-pressure multitasking environments.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Innovative, outside-the-box thinking.

Meticulous attention to detail.

Expertise in time management.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Adapt to flexible working hours, often extending to evenings, weekends, and holidays, as dictated by event schedules.
