Driven by her love for the industry and her desire to improve service from within the recruitment sector, Talent Recruitment Group (formerly Turks & Caicos Recruitment Group) was formed.

Melanie originates from Turks &  Caicos Islands where she started her professional career in hospitality. She was given the opportunity to progress, and as a result was able to work and enjoy life in 5 prestigious Resorts across Providenciales over a period of 15 years.

 

Melanie’s strength in people development led to a permanent move in Human Resource in July of 2013. Nine months into her position, she was afforded the opportunity to serve as Human Resources Manager at Seven Stars Resort & Spa: building business relationships; hiring employees; handling employee issues, and organizing training. Managing a staff of three in Human Resources, she had the opportunity to delve further into hiring/separations, appraisals, incentive programs outside of salary, and personnel issues.

Before opening her own recruiting firm, she was part of the pre-opening team of the newly built Shore Club on Long Bay Beach, where she guided the management of HR operations, systems and programs. With a certification in Human Resources Management, and currently pursuing her BSc at The University of the West Indies, she is confident in her ability to deliver results.

 

She was named Manager of the year by her peers in 2015 and represented the company at Turks & Caicos Hotel & Tourism Association Annual Star Awards, where she captured the community Fan Favorite of the Year Award. Among other accolades, she received honorable mentioned leadership award from Turks & Caicos Immigration Board for demonstrating outstanding leadership in The Turks & Caicos Private Sector.

Her extensive hotel knowledge and hospitality experience have become a key factor in her ability to provide clients and candidates with the exceptional service and results for which she is known. Melanie is enthusiastic about the industry’s future and relishes the challenge to find new talent to match the ambitions of fine resorts and restaurants, which is undoubtedly one of the most rewarding aspects of her role. She is recognized as a high-level professional in the industry.
